UKK01 Urethane Kandy Karrier takes House of Kolor into the 21st century with state of the art polymer technology to produce a product that remains a solvent base system and meets the VOC’s requirements coast-to-coast (including California).

UKK01 can be applied as a medium solids Kandy (34% solids) or as a low solids Kandy (29% solids). Simply reduce and Catalyze
the UKK01 and then add 2-4 ounces of any of House of Kolor’s KK Kandy Koncentrates to a ready-to-spray quart of UKK01 Urethane Kandy Karrier to produce the same vibrant Kandy Kolors as our current UK Kandy’s.

Shimrin® Solid Graphic Kolors are the high-performance solid color range in the House of Kolor lineup. Featuring intense clean color & great coverage – this product is created purely of 100% organic pigment. Mainly used as ground coats, but can be applied also as a top coat for those looking for a powerful burst of solid color.

Shimrin® Designer Pearls come in a wide palette. Color possibilities become endless as Designer Pearls may be intermixed with other Shimrin’s including the Neons, Graphic Kolors BC & FBC Metallic Basecoats and Kandy Basecoats to create a truly one-of-a-kind kustom finish.

Premium results are achieved when Designer Pearls are applied over a white or tinted basecoat to create an intense pearl effect. Pearl mica pigments are extremely finely ground to create an optimal, smooth finish. This also offers excellent usage for air brushers due to a low film build.

Shimrin® Kandy Basecoats are a specially developed basecoat that mimics the ever popular Kandy finish. Shimrin® Neons are designed for hard-hitting high visual impact. Perfect for highlights on race cars, boats and signage where eye-catching intensity is craved. We recommend clear coating with our HOK Urethane clear which contains much more UV absorbers than other standard clears, thus reducing possible sun fade.

In addition:
• Shimrin Neons have a limited color fastness in the direct sun, so an overall project in Neon is not recommended.

The Kosmic Krome effect has evolved from the development of revolutionary aluminum flake chemistry. The final result can be a beautiful and interesting finish that, when combined with other HOK products, transforms into an entirely different realm. The brushed aluminum effect can be applied to create a real metal finish – even on wood or plastic. Ideal for detailing of interior parts and available in 2 metal color effects.

Shimrin® Marblizer Artistic Bases offer you an exciting new paint finish, adding incredible new visual depths to your project. This unique coating can create a wide range of effects – from a deep marble grain to snakeskin appearance. Available in 2 versatile colors, but can be over-coated with Kandy to create any color you wish with an intensely powerful effect.

Intercoat Clear is a kustom painter's best friend. This product is specially designed as a protective immediate clearcoat for artwork tapeouts on Shimrin Base Coats to help prevent tape from marking or disorienting the metallic and splitting when topcoated. It also works as a carrier for smaller flakes and pearls.

House of Kolor's Intercoat Pearl and Flake Karrier is a basecoat clear that is designed to be used as a carrier for Pearls, Flakes, and other dry products offered in HOK's range. This product greatly reduces the settling of Pearls and Flakes after being mixed with other products. It also encapsulates the Pearl and Flake particles so when sprayed, the particles are self-orientated and locked into place, reducing blotching and streaking in the finish.

Ice Pearls™ surpasses all traditional pearls with more brightness of color, more transparency and more reflectivity. The glass flake pigment technology shines even brighter in sunny conditions. Pushing the effects further, blending Ice Pearls pigments creates a true multicolor effect, showcasing each of the colors combined in the pearl.
