House of Kolor - Training Schedule 2009
House of Kolor offers several training courses each year, designed
to give you the tools you need to make your kustom paint jobs
a success everytime, "because the paint is the first thing they
see." Our training center is located in Grand Prairie, TX. The
three types of classes offered are:
House of Kolor Basic 2-Day
Student Profile:
This program is designed for painters that are, or would like
to start, performing custom paint jobs.
Content:
This class will provide a sound background for an experienced
painter to make informed decisions with regard to performance
requirements unique to custom painting, the differences between
"refinish" type work, and the application of the House of Kolor
product line. It will concentrate on the foundation and layering
of "high film" painting. The application will include Kwikure
primers, Ko-Seal sealers, Shimrin base colors, Kosmic Kandy
colors, Flakes, Pearls, Clearcoats, and more.
Application Format:
Very hands on, individual projects, casual dress
Cost:

House of Kolor Advanced Finishes 3-Day
Student Profile:
The students for this class must have attended the House of Kolor
Basic class within the last 12 months. This program is designed
for professional custom painters who would like to advance their
skills and explore different or new techniques and tools used
in custom paintwork.
Content:
This class will review the basic system approach to custom paintwork
with a strong emphasis on the planning and execution of custom
design layout. There are compulsory projects as well as the opportunity
to design and apply many combinations of House of Kolor products.
The exercises will include many new products as well as traditional
House of Kolor favorites such as Marblizing, fading, blending
colors, and the process of ?flow? clearing. The application will
include Kwikure primers, Ko-Seal sealers, Shimrin base colors,
Kosmic Kandy colors, Flakes, Pearls, Clearcoats, and more.

Cost:
$400.00 US

Student Profile:
The students for this class must have attended the House of
Kolor Basic class within the last 12 months. This program is
designed for professional custom painters who would like to
advance their skills and explore different or new techniques
and tools used in custom paintwork. 4-Day class will be instructed
by an industry celebrity to be determined at a later date.

This class will review the basic system approach to custom
paintwork with a strong emphasis on the planning and execution
of custom design layout. There are compulsory projects as well
as the opportunity to design and apply many combinations of
House of Kolor products. The exercises will include many new
products as well as traditional House of Kolor favorites such
